StackExchange Add-On - Copy Code Chunks From StackExchange
This add-on allows you to copy code chunks from StackExchange (tested on StackOverflow, CrossValidated, and GiS) and allow you to paste them anywhere. It's an easy way to quickly share code in comments or answers with friends.
The first thing you need to do is to enable the add-on within StackExchange.
Install the add-on from the Chrome store or Chrome Web Store, and paste the code you want to copy to the clipboard (within the network). To copy just one line of code, just double-click on it. If you want to paste code, press the 'Paste' button.
It will save you the hassle of having to copy and paste entire code chunks, and you will be able to copy any kind of code: plain text, comments, or even inline code.
The add-on has been tested on StackOverflow, CrossValidated, and GiS. It works on all of them and has been working for several years on StackOverflow, CrossValidated, and GiS. You can expect that it will work on all StackExchange sites.
To disable the add-on in your browser, disable it within the extension manager (you can find it from the Chrome Web Store).
